"Having eaten here before I expected a lot more. A group of three we sat down and ordered our food. We were told there would be a minute wait which was fine. However, an hour and twenty minutes later we were getting very impatient. In particular a table of eight next to us, who turned up minutes after us, were receiving their food. So we decided to speak to the manager who informed us that they were on their starters that was why they were getting their food, we did not order any starters. She also said we would have to wait a further minutes.A very rude person, poor attitude and no apology. We promptly received our money back and left and won't be going back. As well as telling all of our family and friends etc.I've never been treated so poorly in a restaurant before"

"Last night I took my girlfriend for a meal in the hut, as she had not really tried meeresfruit. first we were greeted by super friendly staff who showed us on our table. my friend said what a wee she likes and. our waiter showed great knowing and took a bottle out for us, it was nice (when far to light) we had starters and snacks and both were exquisitely cooked, so fresh and tasty tasted. my only regret is that we were so full after I had no place to pudding! I hope that both the front of the house and kitchen staff will read how they made the whole experience fantastic. I would highly recommend and next time in cornwall we will be back."

"Fantastic experience at the Ferry Boat for lunch today. After a long coastal walk, the service was absolutely fantastic, all the staff very friendly and served so quickly, despite a nearly full restaurant (always a good sign! . Food was quick to come out and absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again."

"I had the Quinoa Superfood salad that was delicious: a lot of quinoa, balanced with broccoli, courgette and summer peas (I think they dressed my peas and properly. This gives a venerable point. If you want to list a restuarant like Gylly Beach that serves meat, but makes good Veg options, you need to jump through Hoops. If you want to check it, you cannot give it five stars. But I would rather eat an intelligently designed dish like her Quinoa salad than anything on the menu of certain vegan restaurants (like one in the same city that serves nothing but tired copies of meat eaters Fast Food. There was a time when the only thing that vegans were offered was brown rice and lentils; if the standard menu option is plant-based burgers, I do not see this as progress. Well, well done Gylly Beach for me something I enjoyed. A criticism: the beer. Only keg beer was available, so I had to do with a pint Neck Oil, which was fine, but as I did for the St Austell Brewery 's beautifully chopped (and well named Proper Job. All right, two reviews. £11.50 for two pints? Is that Cornwall or Mayfair?"
