"Disappointing… waiting staff super miserable and unhelpful. Ordered kids meals which the menu said came with beans but were served peas. When questioned, the peas were returned and we were told they had run out of beans. It seemed like the staff couldn’t care less about anyone or anything! Beef was cut very thick, chewy and was nowhere near pink. The wine was nice but not at £10 per 250ml!!! Too expensive for the poor quality. Bar staff were lovely but that’s probably my only positive."

"We googled the nearest EV charger and found this wonderful gem! Charging was easy, no app required just tap and go. We then enjoyed a morning coffee cake in the orangery. Dog friendly and beautiful surroundings. The best charging stop we have ever found!"

"What a fabulous friendly place Owners couldn’t do enough to help us with our requests fussy eaters etc The Sunday roast was delicious portion sizes for giants we left popping at the seams mainly because it was so yummy we just couldn’t stop when we were full the temptation to keep eating was unbearable Definitely worth popping in if your passing"

"Stopped here for a drink on the way home from Tewkesbury to Gloucester. Ended up having lunch because it smelled so good. It was gorgeous. Fish and chips was spectacular, ploughman's was even beyond that, and my year old autistic daughter thoroughly enjoyed her...plate of Nacho's. Not cheap cheap, but reasonable prices for what you get and the quality was brilliant. And even on a cloudy day you get a gorgeous view of the surrounding countryside. We will be back again."

"Sunday dinner was awful... No taste what so ever, 3 tiny boiled potatoes between 2 adults and a child. Really disappointed and not once did anyone come to ask how our meals were, nore when we paid the bill. Really Really disappointing"

"Went mid week as staying locally. A very traditional establishment which is cosy and very friendly. We had the Steak pie as recommended by another couple. It was homemade by the landlady and absolutely delicious. Sadly we hoped to return but didn't get the chance. We will return next time we visit Yorkley"
