"The views in this place are not disappointed. The best part about the airy, glass-encased dining room is the availability of a fantastic view, regardless of where you sit. The terrace is also beautiful, but make sure it is not too cool before you sit, as the island can become cool and windy fast. We came here for lunch and dinner. The food is solid and tastes fresh. Certainly ask for the specialties as they turn out interesting dishes daily. We ordered Dungeoness crabs and bread with sun-dried tomato butter for apps. The butter was surprisingly tasty and satisfying in fresh weather. The papers, on the other hand, were undercoated and filled with filler potatoes. There were negligible crab flavors. The panned salmon was the dish of the day and cooked for perfection. Halibut was just as good that you wouldn't go wrong here with fish. Prawn mac and cheese is also delicious, but in person I would lure one of the fish over it. The fish and chips are serviceable, crispy and with a generous help from Fritten. For Dessert we tried the candy cake and the white chocolate cheese cake. The former had a little 'cooler taste' cling to the cream, but was otherwise moist and went fast. The cheese cake is solid, but nothing special. As far as the service is concerned, the waiter seemed rather inexperienced, often swapped with each other and spilling water on the table, but they were pleasant for the most part. Downriggers is a great choice for a special occasion and for some great views. They just managed to justify their price."

"We went there yesterday and the food was good, the female waitress/bartender was friendly. we loved the fish and chips and the beer. Im only giving 3 stars because right before we left, the fat male bartender literally yelled at a patron who entered without a mask but had walked one step to his table just inside the door, without giving him a chance to put on his mask or respond. this man had a mask though. The bartender was awful and he truly made everyone else feel very uncomfortable By yelling so loudly and unprovoked. Then the waitress chimed in as well, pointing and yelling for him to get out. Completely uncalled for. The worst part was that this bartender had his mask on the whole time UNDER HIS CHIN! He returned to the bar and for a couple more minutes he still did not put his mask on right. In fact, before all this happened, he was wearing his mask improperly, not over his nose. He was so hypocritical and should be fired for being such a jerk And unprofessional. This is bad PR for the owner, shame on this place."

"Was in a hurry to catch a fairy, but she, where quickly friendly and the food was amazing I had the combo, which fried from two pieces of fish special mussels and fried scallops with a handful of freshly cut french fryers by far the best fish and chips iv had in years the woman had Clam Chowder in a bread bowl with a side of Caesar salad would recommend both"
