"We called here for a spot of lunch whilst enjoying a day in Lytham, the service was spot on and the quality of the fish and chips was really good, the fish was so fresh will definitely be going back. Inside and outside seating, bathrooms very clean."

"Typical family venue in lots of ways. Menu catering for children and offering typical pub grub choices. The two main dishes we chose were good and nicely presented. Staff very friendly. A busy Sunday and service was slow but we understood that because we hadn't booked."

"Separate vegan menu, we had vegan breakfast and Mediterranean veg pasta. Both were delicious. It was very busy when we visited but staff were very friendly and food was prepared really quickly. Will definitely return when in the area."

"I was quickly attended to. Polite staff. I ordered the chicken burger for £9. Unfortunately had to buy a separate side of fries for £3 and a glass of wine for £8.50. An expensive lunch. My food came in a timely manner. It looked nice....Nice fries, nice salad.. a large portion of the chicken was over cooked and hard.. my pooch benefited from this. At no time did anyone come out to ask if my food was ok.. I was the only customer outside. As soon as I finished a waiter did appear and asked about my food. I told him my thoughts and he apologised and said he would inform the chef. And That was that. Bill came and they gave me a discount. Overall a positive experience."

"Was recommended by a work colleague to try the Plum Tree after being told it was a great place to eat. Had the carvery; good portion of beef and gammon meat, great choice of veg, all of which delicious. Pleasant atmosphere, clean and tidy; staff helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Glad I listened to the recommendation."

"I just love this place, a bit off the beaten track in the back of Freck-Le -Ton Sur Ribble. It is an absolute gem, the service, the food and views of planes landing at BAE Warton are brilliant. Somebody said on here it was expensive,...what planet are they on, we went on a Tues Lunchtime and had the lunch sandwiches...no Tues 1/3rd discount, but the Deputy Manager said I will knock 20% off the cost. The Deputy Manager has connections to Hong Kong and we had a lovely conversation about the new Hong Kong to Macau Bridge...he is an absolute credit to the pub, a really nice friendly guy. Sadly I live an hour away in Southport, if I lived in Freck, I would be in here every day, it is a gem."
