"15.09.2019 I havent been this side of the world in ages. Kara Glen has had quite a revamp since I was last in the area, and I've been following Fin Fillet since they opened and finally got the chance to visit. We sat outside, while listening to the musicians opposite on a chilled saturday afternoon They have a decent selection and variety on their menu of meat and fish (obviously) I tried the cheesy prawns as a starter, and the Eisbein with Sauerkraut and Mash for Mains. "So a bit of a preface here. We are burger aficionados we are on a mission to find Victoria's best burger and have driven a 240km round trip just to get to a tiny roadhouse with the perfect fish and chip shop burg. Secondly, one half of us is a massive Bowie fan. When you opened we thought of coming, but never got there... Then the news hit and it kind of felt a little... sacrilegious going? Anyway, now here we are. We got to you and didn't cry. As far as burgers go, you're totally up there in our top three. The ratio of meat to cheese to bun was amazing. The texture and mouth feel was ace. The bun was pretty stellar too. Only dip was the slaw, it was just a smidge watery and could of used a bit of pep, maybe with more of a remoulade zing. Our Starman w/ Mac n Cheese Croquette ticked our main boxes. Thank you for the experience."

"Delicious food!! I ordered the ‘sombrero’ with brie and my boyfriend ordered the ‘hero’ also with added brie, we also ordered a medium sized potion of chips to share. $1 dipping sauces, recommend the tomato and the aoli. Happy hour 4-6 at $6 a pint."

"We are native in the elsternwick filiale trying to get a table, but was full (fair enough) the manager/maintenance seemed really overwhelmed. when I asked if we could order a farewell instead, it seemed really annoyed that it was even an option. ordered takeaway and sat next to the counter where the main wait was personal person. waits for more than 20 minutes and turns out that our eating on the counter sat cold all the time. we had told the waiting staff that we were waiting next to the tresor and they could see us. to get it hectic during Friday peak hour, but honestly, the attitude and lack of care is my problem. if they do not want to be in a hospitality/management position, they should perhaps do another job where they are not confronted customers. better tommy ruff."
