"I've been going here for years. I love that my local Fish Shop is so good. They're lovely people and very efficient. The grilled flake is lovely (they get fresh flake in every day). Friday nights are crazy busy, be aware, you'll wait at least 20 minutes after 6pm, but any other time, no more than 15 minutes.<br/>P.S They make their own potato cakes and they're the BEST."

"We are regulars here go every week.This week I had the worst meal ever.Chicken meal ever.It was supposed to be cacciatore but it was dry chicken legs covered with a tomato mushroom sauce a big dollop of wet mashed potato with very greasy...pieces of thin bread,no vegs at all.My husband had roast chicken with roast veg and chips which was pretty good,but who can't cook roast chicken it's easy and they are supposed to be chefs.The huge plate of very unappealing food but me off straight away I was expecting a casserole of tasty chicken pieces in a nice sauce this meal looked like something that would be served in a prison plenty of it but awful to eat.The wait staff are always excellent here that's why we keep coming back but the quality of food really is hit and miss seems they can cook a roast but not much else to a decent standard,the prices are high for a RSL but the kitchen lets this place down badly,I expect a better quality of food for the prices they charge."
