"A classic, no frills roadside restaurant specializing in deep fried seafood of various descriptions. They have a good sized and well priced seafood platter that feeds two handily. No complaints on the temperature, taste or texture of the fish or fries. Notable is the wide selection of pop flavours available by the can (more than 20). There is also a preponderance of relishes available at the self-service condiment table, including a gherkin based one, another reminiscence of mustard pickle, and a quasi-tartar sauce with a bit of spice. I'd probably give them four stars, except the experience was tinged with disappointment from them not having homemade pie (or any pie for that matter), as boldly advertised on the roadside sign. For the sweet tooth, they do have an ice cream stand, with a dozen or so flavours."
