"Good, solid food and service. I had some appetizers for lunch! Burger slider, spicy cauliflower (yum!, Brussels (holy cow, much of this kindness!) and a spicy fish taco. Nice place for a place for lunch, even if you are not on the golf course."

"Very kind wait staff. We're greeted at the door immediately and asked to take a seat wherever we liked either outdoor or inside. Was a bit humid outside but they had the misters on even early in the morning which helped when the breeze blew our way. Tables were clean, drinks and further service was prompt. I don't remember the name, but my breakfast chips dish was unexpectedly great. The biscuits and gravy had a very unique sauce as well. The chorizo as a side was a bit different than I normally am used to eating, but being homemade it was good in its own way. Eggs were cooked exactly how we asked them to be as well. The country potatoes were cut in bite sized chunks but not really flavored much. That's the only slight hit for me. Again, the multiple staff who hosted us were very attentive with drink refills and checking up on us throughout,yet not very pushy or annoying even when it came time to pay the bill. The place just looked a bit old and partially under construction which is the only reason for 4 stars."

"While in the area for work, we stopped by to try this place. It is very clean and open, with plenty of natural light. Great ambiance. The staff is very friendly and makes sure that you get everything you need. Our order was accurate, free of mistakes.I came across the Yelp reviews and pictures online, which is why we decided to try the food.We ordered the brisket, pot roast, ground beef spaghetti, and stuffed bread.The brisket was very dry and lacking in flavor. The pot roast sounded amazing to me until I took a bite and realized it was lacking in flavor as well. I added salt to salvage it. It only made a small difference. The mashed potatoes were dry and crumbly with hardly any salt.The ground beef spaghetti was actually decent in flavor. However, nothing special, as it tasted like homemade spaghetti.The stuffed bread seemed like a great idea, but both options were okay. Again, a little salt goes a long way with flavor.I felt like we paid for hospital food."

"Here is amazing! the ambiente for interior and exterior seats is beautiful. there is so much room outside and many cabins inside with the bar and cool interior designs. eating is quite expensive and tastes wonderful. the service is always attentive and the toilets are conveniently located a 30-second walkway from where they sit. it is close to the polo fields, but I have never smelled manure. Typically, when I go, I order the baby back balls with kartoffels and mac n cheese as the sides of the polokartoffel wedges. this comes in the regular at $50 and feeds me two others. seriously this place is a must visit and has incredible eating for a fair price!"

"Service was terrible.. took for ever to get a drink. Waiter said they lost the order and offered no apology. Lettuce chicken wraps were small and tasted terrible.. asked for some sauce and it never came.. finally sent them back and ordered stir fry and chicken salad. After waiting 1/2 hr and having to go ask came out not good.. stir fry was dry and salad had no flavour. Don’t like to review so we spoke to the manager and he certainly did nothing to make us want to try again.. it was a total bust."

"I saw the sign. See 3 others, but decided to stop. Nice clean. Food is great. Guacamole is bomb. Modelo was perfectly beautiful and cold. Beans were delicious. Definitely be back."

"We will ever set foot again in the TU MADRES! We believe in supporting our local restaurants in La Quinta, but in all our years of eating the HEAD hostess, the WORST SERVICE Award wins! Sunday we had reservations at 5 pm. We had 5 people and couldn't fit the table we were given. Head Hostess would have been less interested in helping us. We waited for 15 minutes for the reception, for what we thought would be one of the larger open tables or stands... during this time came a party of 3 and main hostess sat at a big stand. The young hostess told us that we could have the open size when it was cleared. Oh no. NOTE Hostess would have None OF THAT and took BACK to the SAME table that we originally couldn't fit into which she told us: "We either take it or we will come out of the reservation list and have to wait until unpreserved table opens". I couldn't stand it... it was SO BIZARRE. I even though the restaurants wanted to repeat the local customers?"
