"I had a steak burger and chips at this cafe and was really impressed with the quality and taste of the food. When I first looked at the menu I thought the prices were a bit high but after I saw how much food you get and the quality of the food I was more than happy to have paid $15.95 for a steak burger, chips and can of soft drink. The burger was the best I have ever had and the chips were really good. The staff are friendly too. I will definitely be back next time I am in Ipswich."

"We popped by after the Ulster had stopped serving lunch. There was a large group in for High Tea but the waitress (owner? came over immediately and left menus and let us know that it would be a little while before she could take our order. I had the open chicken focaccia and hubby had the crispy skinned salmon. Meals came out in a reasonable time. Two small quibbles- the salmon skin wasn't crispy the salmon was actually crispy on the top, luckily not over cooked. Came with a small salad, a few potato wedges and caramelised Kent pumpkin slices. Mine was very nice but not an open sandwich as it had a top, with side salad and beer battered chips. Tables had nice white table clothes and cutlery. Would love to try the high tea as it is made on premises."
