"We have eaten here on a number of occasions and have always had a great meal. Good seafood, good wine list and excellent service. On this occasions however the main course was a real let down. Our oysters were excellent. Fresh and well prepared. Our...starters were the usual high standard. Fruits de mer, top notch and foie gras de canard excellent. The main course however was not very good. The monkfish and the haddock had clearly been around for a while and was overcooked. Vegetables were bland and consisted of a few boiled potatoes and a mass of inedible sauerkraut. So, for balance, the deserts (limoncello sorbet Rhum Baba) were the usual high standard and the Chablis was very good. Good service as usual but overall, the cost did not match the standard of the food. This is our standard "go to" place for special occasions. We may need to rethink"
