"I had an incredible dining experience at this Mexican restaurant. The two fish tacos and shrimp taco I ordered were absolutely amazing, bursting with flavor. The standout, however, was the exceptional service. The waitress was incredibly friendly, offering valuable advice on the menu. "This is probably our new favorite Mexican restaurant in the Carson Valley! The front end is executed by Carla, which offers exemplary service!! The margaritas are the best here and the freshly made tortilla chips are best we ever had! You're so good that I didn't want to use much salsa with them. All reviews about how delicious the food is and they are right! I had chicken enchiladas with green sauce, delicious! Also outdoor seating. Very recommended! Many times gone and here everything is great! Carla is personalized kindness and efficiency. It's also nice, not waiting for a table. If you haven't gone to El Agaveno yet, you're missing!"

"Food was mediocre at best, especially since the prices are about one and a half times the price of other local Mexican restaurants. Atmosphere dark and dreary. Service was decent, however I've learned since then that owner fired all Caucasian workers. Wouldn't recommend to ANYONE. Only have one star because I had to."

"This is our new favorite Mexican food restaurant! Always delicious! Great Horchata! This place gets really busy but is worth the wait! Do yourself a favor and take someone you love. "One of the best tacos asada I have had. Enough steak to make 6 tacos instead of the usual 3. Had to take some home. They are a block off of the town square on a corner. There was only one server for all the tables while we were there, but once our order was placed food came out amazingly fast. "If I could give a 10 star place, this would find a place. my man and I had Mexican eating at the best places in new orleans and in manhattan beach, but this place hits all. we went in and we were greeted and sitting. the place was clean, immaculate! they have the best artwork about the walls, exotic as just from mexiko. then our waitress Alexis, so sweet and attentive, she made sure that we were happy, warm fresh chips and the best salsa made fresh I have ever eaten, was immediately brought to our table, the queen had exactly the right, I knew that the eating is notch. I ordered a frozen lime marguerita and I had the garnelen chimichanga my nabeby had the seafood chimichanga. so delish, it was hot when it came out and was still warm when I was almost finished. all the food we had and salsa was perfectly seasoned, they can say that they are proud of their cooking and presentation. when we got the bill, that was the best part, it was reasonable price, just what we ordered. I have stopped going and recommend many places because they overload and it is not even with the services or were. this place is not too expensive or under price, it is just right. we will be back and we will send all we know that will be in this area!"
