"Giving this visit a 4 thanks to Jeff the bartender. What a wonderful, welcoming, service oriented team member. His service was quick. As we were sitting at the bar we could see into the kitchen area. Our appetizer arrived promptly but our meals were not completed or served at the same time. Not Jeff's issue. It was a kitchen issue. It wasn't that busy and there was plenty of staff. The jalapeños were good and hot, the 1/2 order of flatbread and salad were tasty. The wait for a medium rare burger was long which made my flatbread cold since I waited for my husband to be served. His fries were also cold and undercooked. But, Jeff is a star!"

"Poke was ok, not very fresh. Some of the veggies had some sort of slime, I assume from being left out too long. The store also had an off putting smell when walking in. I might come back in the future, but it simply does not compare to good poke. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3"

"Food is good but the wait for your food is unacceptable. Don't come here if you are hungry because you may die of Hungary before your food comes out. I love the burgers but my time is worth more and there are other places to get a good burger without the wait. Should be 15 minutes 20 tops for your food. Wife and I waited almost an hour."

"Just found our new favorite Mexican restaurant! I grew up in Denver so had a plethora of local, authentic and quality Mexican restaurants. Not so much in Orlando. This was fantastic! I have always endured Mexican rice as a necessary evil, but this rice was light, flavorable and not overly salty. Was that a hint of clove in my black beans? Meat was marinated and grilled to savory perfection. Was it really loud? Yes. Next time we will sit outside. But my wife is a good cook and if I need quiet I will eat at home. When I go out, I want to be wowed by the food. I was wowed. Wish we could have met the Chef!"

"Going out on a Thursday night has it's drawbacks, one being everyone getting an early start on the weekend, and many places being very busy. BJs restaurant is certainly one of the more popular places in that area. Whole we didn't have to wait to be seated, orders took a while to arrive. I must say it was worth the wait, as ours came with free ice cream courtesy of a Thursday special. The tritips were excellent, and the service great."

"My impression was a better tasting better managed chipotle. You had the menus in the line so you knew what you wanted before you came to the staff. I think that made it much more efficient. You had some options. I have the Enchiladas. You were very good! The mint Limade was very well twisted."

"Took the family here to try a new place since we had a fundraising booklet we purchased from our kid 's school. The entrance to the place is a little awkward and is very easy to miss (if you do, you 'll have to do a U-Turn and try again). Entering, the restaurant feels a bit dark, but I think that 's the look they are going for. It has a homey feel and has a distinct Mexican feel in it. The menus were a bit dirty, and the waiter rushed us to order. I suspected he was almost done with his shift and wanted to get our order in before he left. Throughout our experience, we were caught in limbo between the change in wait staff. The chips were warm and the salsa was good. Wife ordered the Cancun Salad (minus mushrooms), son ordered the kid 's pizza, and I ordered the Burrito Jalisco. All of our food tasted great and it was quickly out of the kitchen. The food was great, the customer service from the first waiter wasn 't great at all. However, I decided 4 stars is a fair review overall. I may come back and roll the dice on a better waited experience."
