"I tried this restaurant based on other's recommendations and I was very glad I did. The setting is right off the river and made a scenic dining experience. The food was nicely prepared. I had the city's specialty cuttlefish. It was delicious and not overcooked. The staff was friendly and attentive. I was also impressed that the owner was most accommodating. It was a rather windy day. The owner rearranged tables and saw that guests sat where they would be most comfortable. The food was great, the setting was lovely, owner staff were gracious and the price was reasonable. I was throughly satisfied and happy with the experience."

"We are not portugese, so maybe we don't appreciate a good Choco-Froito, but we waited 45min and at what we got was just a very hard, fat and salty fried seafood. I don't want to despise a typical setubal court, but if they're just a tourist, maybe that's not the place for them"

"It's a good food joint, typically Portuguese and have variety of fish and meat. Quality of food is good, specially typical Setubalense Sardines. Very testy and sell served with boiled potato with skin. Salad and other accompanied titbits are extra. Main problem of this restaurant is absolutely understaffed. Just girl for esplanade and one for inside for around 40 people while full. Old lady owner is very cooperating and active to add her hands to tables services too but not at all sufficient. Sweet dishes do not justify value for money. Too little and too high and quality is not to the satisfaction of clients."

"We went to a different restaurant near this one to get Choco Frito but they were already closing. This one accepted us and their Choco Frito didn't let us down. It's not cheap (14€ 5.90€ for fries and salad) but its good. The octopus (choco) was tender enough. 2 sodas, 1 coffee and 1 desert and we paid 26.30€."
