"I had made reservations on Open Table. When we got there I asked hostess to check me in and she didn 't seem to know what to do. I told her to look on the iPad she had in front of her to find my reservation and that I had received an e-mail from them with a confirmation . She said iPad was out of battery I should ask our server. I did she seemed clueless, too said she would ask manager. Manager came and said he would check on it. I waited for him at hostess stand he confirmed I pad was out of battery not plugged in. How do you run a business that way???? It should have been plugged in once they knew it was out of battery. Turns out the plug-in belongs to the hostess not Fridays apparently she didn 't care. I could tell by her attitude from the time we came in. Finally it got plugged in I told them I wouldn 't be waiting for it to be up running as it was deader than a doornail I wasn 't wasting any more time waiting arguing with them. If they want business they had better be prepared for it. Neither of the managers I spoke to seemed to care and one even suggested she didn 't see why it was such a big deal. I explained to her that we if I was a no show I would be hearing from Open Table reminding me that I was expected by the restaurant to show up and it was rude inconsiderate not to as they could have given the table/reservation to another guest also, I would not be getting the points. Apparently, the people at this location are clueless about the program. If I worked there, I would be embarrassed if the customer knew I was ignorant of the fact they used Open Table and how it works. Shame on them. I told them I would be contacting their corporate office as well as Open Table, which I did. They didn 't seem to care."

"Phenomenal! Heard about this from a local. Walked up, was invited to sit at the table with the owner (who I didn't know was the owner at the time. Seems like a very humble gentleman. Staff and patrons were so friendly. Inside is unique. The Ruben Sammie was excellent! Ladies, the Pursuit of Freedom is delicious!"

"Who would've thought that a restaurant could have bomb Thai AND Mexican food! Cinco 5 has the best fajitas I've ever had and the best pad thai I've had in South Bend! Our waitress Thelma was super sweet as well. So glad we found this gem! "

"Not a bad restaurant. We had good servers for our group. A mudslide is $8 (and weak on the alcohol even on an empty stomach which was fine by me). I don't care for Mexican food so it wouldn't be fair to rate it. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food and we were all in a good mood."

"This place came to my work place almost every Friday, every time they show up to my work place for lunch I always order the shred chicken bowl with everything except sour cream and lots of hot sauce. The food always on point . It's so good I actually went to the restaurant order some food (the same like I said alway on point . Only disappointment was I always ask for more hot sauce, they always think I cant handle the hot"

"We went to a baby doctor appointment because i am exactly 6 months today and the doctor appointment wasn’t actually until 1:30 pm so We we’re looking for some spanish food and we came across Chicos. We looked at the menu to order, they have limited selection on menu, and they charge chips and salsa separately. you think if you’re paying 12 dollars for 3 tacos only you’d get chips and salsa. we will not be back, we have visited a lot of spanish places to eat and this one is the FIRST out of many that does not offer chips and salsa with the meals to purchase. Kinda disappointing. was looking forward to eating chips and salsa. Guess this place is scratched off the list of places to eat in south bend. Would not recommend due to pricing, location and no chips and salsa."
