"Nicks may not be the most attractive fish and chip shop but it is the food that matters and on that level, it is great. Our local fish and chip shop for a number of years has had to compete with several others in the suburb over the years but where the others have come and gone, Nicks is still here and obviously following a good recipe. A range of takeaway options are available but plain crumbed cod and chip with a slice of lemon is good for me. Proximity to the local high school means there are some students during school lunch so it could be busier at these times. On a side note, Nick have lemons (some for sale) that are huge and make the supermarket equivalent look decidedly second rate."
