"What an incredible eatery ?We stopped in for lunch today and the food was amazing! Our hostess Tracey was awesome! Knowledgeable, Kind and Friendly , we cannot thank you enough! We ate outside where our pup Molly was brought fresh water onto the pet friendly patio! "It's nice to see that the Second Wedge was able to get back on their feet after being hit by the tornado last year. A great place to enjoy a pint with family or friends. A fantastic atmosphere and the Foundry Pi pizza available on the weekends adds to the experience. They have a large area with picnic tables visible from the roadway, but the best spot is just on the other side of hedge. The outdoor area is like a mini getaway. Definitely worth a visit."

"To say that this place has gone downhill after a change in ownership is an understatement.1) The adult portions re literally smaller than the child portions elsewhere.2) The fish is dried up and greasy.3) It smells.4) They forget condiments - not even dressing on a salad.5) They are super slow.6) It is super dirty.In sum this is the absolute most pathetic Fish and Chips place you can imagine. I though Captain George's was a franchise in which case I have no idea how they are even allowed to operate under that name. One of 2 things should happen asap.1) the owners go eat in any fish and chips restaurant anywhere else in Ontario to get an idea of what their product should be then seriously get their act together.or2) Or they go out of business.Honestly so pathetic is is unbelievable."

"I was very excited to find a place with local organic food. when considering the labels of food in the almost empty, underlaid business, however, I saw that most dry goods originate from China. what a sweat. and some of the foods. were conventionally cultivated. Maybe if the worker stepped out their phone texts while there are customers (that was not-stop in my 30-minute exploration of surprise Chinese food), they could build some real local food and support local. lame and dishonest."

"While shopping in town we stopped in for a late lunch. This was during Stage 2 of covid reopening. They had the front door set up as the entrance. patio to leave and take out thru the side door. There was directional tape on the...floor so everyone knew which doors to use. They also took our information for contact tracing and overall everyone seemed to be ontop of all the regulations set out. They had a decent sized patio and it was fairly busy for a Sat afternoon. We had the 3 Meal salad, soup and brushetta. We upgraded to the French Onion soup. and changed the brushetta to just garlic bread. I had the Honey Wonton Chicken Salad and that was very good. They honey dill dressing was delicious, and the dill wasnt overpowering Our server was friendly and prompt with everything we needed."
