"Last visited about years ago, so was intrigued to see if it had kept up with the times and was pleased to see it had. Food was basic but good when I went previously, this time food was still good with a varied and...reasonably priced menu. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Pleasant surroundings but icing on cake was Holden's Glow. If only I lived closer!"

"Rude people, bad service, everyone that worked there looked terrible acted really rough (I'm not posh, so please don't get me wrong, I'm really not a snob. I come from Dudley haha). No smiles. Toilets were dirty... I honestly can't think of anything good...to say about this place."

"Some time since I have been in this pub, but new furniture and new seating at front of pub, which will be great to sit out in the evening in this pretty village when weather permits. Lunch food had excellent presentation and quality, but is quite pricey for the amount of main ingredient you get."

"Went here with the family the other day as our daughter wanted to treat us to lunch. The little one had a Curry, which she said was rather spicy and it didn't say this on the menu. I had Sausage and Mash although the sausage had no spice or anything to it and tasted of nothing at all. Mum had a Mushroom Brushetta and some soup of the day which she said was lovely. We had some drinks and the bill came to just over £50. The service was fine, although the chap behind the bar appeared like he hadn't been doing this for very long. No criticism as we all have to start from somewhere. Anyway, the food was lovely and would definitely go there again , just not to have the sausage and mash, although the mash was lovely."
