"They sure know how to cook meat here. Had a wonderful dish of grilled chicken breasts which were full of flavour. Great selection of sides, the veggies and roast potatoes were delicious. Friendly staff and efficient. Would definitely recommend trying them out if you're in the area."

"Beautiful people, beautiful food and great coffee!! Once we discovered the cafe we had 6 days left on our holiday and we spent 4 mornings there for breakfast. The food was incredible, tried something new everyday! Everyone working there are lovely and so helpful. The theme is great, makes for a really great atmosphere!! Highly recommend going at least once because you will definitely go back I’ve read a few of the other negative comments and from the bottom of my heart not true! Love it here, coming back next time we are in Cape Town"

"A little closer to the sea and you're inside! Wow, what a great restaurant. Perfect location. Absolutely perfect! No atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly. The facility is pet-friendly, and it is really. You're making such a mess. Thank you. Of course the food was perfect. We enjoyed a perfect evening (and sunset) and felt very happy! I highly recommend Ons Huisie. Oh, and the story of Ons Huisie is very interesting!"

"Pretty slick service, chic and modern decor and a very relaxed atmosphere make for a really enjoyable dining experience. The menu is very eclectic and varied, so if burgers, fish chips or pizza are your thing, this isn't for you. The dessert options were with limited and unusual, but giving a nod to the traditional, like crème brulee out chocolate mousse wouldn't hurt. It's also halaal, therefore no alcohol is served. It was quite pricey, but that's fully expected given its CBD location."
