"Me and my partner came here on the weekend very cozy and convenient place to get too. I had the French toast and my partner had the pancakes. The food was very tasty and satisfy . It was our first time going out after the lockdown and it was so good to eat out again."

"We were on the hunt for a degustation menu and Devonshire's sounded on the money. It was rather small (and I don't mind intimate) but felt like a bit of a tight squeeze. The first thing that put me off was that while waiting for our drinks I could see a waitress standing at the bar having a drink. I don't mean to imply that she was drinking alcohol, but it's one of the first rules of good hospitality, the staff should not eat nor drink in front of the customers. Especially not thirsty customers waiting for their drinks.The courses flowed at a good pace and the service was friendly. The price was very reasonable. Some of the food was quite lovely but unfortunately some dishes involved deep fried foods. You don't go to degustation for deep fried food, you go to the fish & chip shop for that. It was a nice experience and good value for money, but we wouldn't return. The point of degustation is to blow your mind, and unfortunately Devonshire didn't."

"Have been wanting to visit Kentaro since they opened and when they came out with this omurice rendition it was the final push I needed.<br>

Went all out and ordered a drink - it's my first time having a houjicha latte, but I've consumed houjicha before in the form of Kit Kats and soft serve ???? This houjicha latte was OK - the tea flavour was rather muted for my liking and perhaps not quite smooth enough. It comes unsweetened so you can add brown sugar to your discretion.<br>

The Kentaro style omurice ($18) consists of tomato fried rice with peas, bacon, cheese, wrapped in an omelette and ladled with dark miso mushroom gravy. The eggs are silky, with a salty bite from pieces of tasty cheese, and umami from the miso mushroom gravy. The miso gravy reminded me a lot of the black bean sauce used in jajangmyeon. Great dessert place in Surry Hills that does the classic Hungarian pastry as well as a range of other sweet pastries and cakes, we ordered the kurtosh which was authentic and came fresh and warm as well as the strawberry sponge cake, white chocolate brownie and the tiramisu, and everything tasted amazing. Would recommend for any sweet tooth!

"Disappointing. I longed a steak season, which seems to have seemed to disappear each pub menu! So this guys was looking forward to an offer. Came like a burger on 2 thick bread slots like bread. Way too much bread to the meat rates. Onions were onion rings, which was not really much to taste and the meat himself was really salty / predominantly. $ 25 would not order again."
