"I went for the sweetbreads and my partner had the peppers, both were sensational. The peppers were perfectly cooked lying on a humous like silky smooth dip, wonderful textures. The sweetbreads were not over cooked lying on a dressed salad with crunchy, not over oiled,...mini croutons, it made for the perfect opener with a crunch. We both went for the octopus. It was wonderfully tender and fresh. From top to bottom it was perfectly cooked for both of us. The gravy and mash giving it a generous feel whilst also making sure the potato was not too heavy. Mash done well is a treat. A treat we had. Lots of flavour and lovely textures all round. For desert we had a chocolate cake with whipped cream and my partner had the lemon posset. The cake had lightness whilst being perfectly rich in cocoa and not overly sweet. "
