"This markey should excite everyone, whether you are a foodie or not. The market stalls are a feast of colour, smell and taste particularly the fish stalls where the just caught tuna 's were being carved and served. The eating and tasting cafes are a must to try the oysters and the octopus pies and as well as the locally baked zezettes washed down with several glasses of the local wines."

"We landed in that restaurant. a small table near the water. staff are very present and very competent. The dishes are correct, but too oiled to my taste Italian salad, tuna cooked with vegetables and rice, tuna tiramisu was perfect, but vegetables swim in oil. The tiramisu was light and perfect. No waiting, no being served, no check."

"This is one of the many places on the canal-front offering a three-course lunch for around €15 (prices vary from €14-€18 across about 10 restaurants). The choice was pretty random, but we were instantly happy with our choice given the friendly welcome and the prompt arrival of tapenade with bread and water. Always a good idea to stick something in front of the customer to keep them happy.Three courses for €15.90. I went for the €26.90 menu because I fancied the foie gras dish. My wife had chevre chaud salad then sea bass; I had duck for main, as well as the foie gras starter. All very good. For desert, my wife had the peach tart, and me the chocolate fondant, although it was more like a slice of chocolate cake, sometimes like sponge and sometimes a runny mousse. Really very good. Coffee to finish (with a nice biscuit – always a nice touch). All of that for €62 (we had a kir each and a 50cl demi of white wine).I find it difficult to imagine that any of the other 10 restaurants on the front will be any better than this. As good, yes, but not better. One of the most enjoyable lunches we've had in our six weeks here."

"Tile: too much paste compared to the filling but good. Nice servers but service too fast. Very nice restaurant and impeccable toilet. I'll be back with pleasure."

"Very poor quality food, service… complete lack of respect for customers! To make it short: a WORM in the plate, we had to ask for plates to eat, then cutlery etc… answer “we’ll attend to you when we have time”, “I’m just a poor immigrant” (a waiter’s answer!! … Used to be good, now DO NOT recommend at all! A disgrace to serve such food near the water!!"
