"Went to Hubbard Avenue Diner for breakfast to see why it was so highly rated. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. The waitress we had seemed new and brought the wrong drink. Instead of hot chocolate we received a coffee drink that tasted like coffee grounds in hot water. The breakfast skillet with a biscuit that I got was nothing special. The hashbrowns were somewhat raw and had very little crisp to them. The ham was rubbery. The only bright spot in the food was the apple pie that we got to go. The pie was good but not worth driving a distance to get. I don’t plan to be back."
