"Beware of the $5 Split Charge.This is an additional charge if there's anyone in your party that doesn't order food. Cheapest thing on the menu is a $6 fruit cup that we were forced to add to our bill. We definitely won't be coming here as often. It's a shame. Food and service here are decent and overall, it's a good neighbourhood spot. Why not just implement a minimum $10 per person charge instead? Would have rather ordered a few more beverages instead. Between 3 adults and a toddler, we were spending close to $60 before adding the fruit cup."

"Went for breakfast here the other day. I tried the breakfast special $5.99 Monday to Friday before 10am). The food was ok, the home fries are not home made. Coffee is not included very similar to Eggsmart right to the hours of operation!!!!! Service...was GREAT!!!"

"Fantastic portions to the breakfast, I can only imagine for the rest of the meal. the price was very reasonable considering which others put the fees. very glad I decided to go here. coffee was amazing, so I usually judged a place. they love the old style look of the place, atmosphere was cozy, felt not rushed to get me out."

"This is a nouveau greasy spoon, but it works so well, without at attitude of others in that ilk in Toronto. Killer pancakes. Seating is very limited, but in summer there is a patio on the sidestreet which gives a bit more room. Show up early, or expect a bit of a wait, but I've never found the queue too long. Great spot for brunch."

"Went here after reading reviews on trip advisor, and wasn’t disappointed! Had breakfast here twice and both times it was amazing! Staff really friendly, food tasted amazing, especially the pancakes! They were the best pancakes I think I have ever had! Only minor downside was...they didn’t have wifi for customer use, which is really handy for foreign tourists who get charged extortionate amounts for mobile data. Would happily return here on my next visit to Toronto!"

"Ordered from Uber Eats.First time ordering from here and probably the last.NOT WORTH THE PRICE!10 baby spinach leaves, 1/4 of an avocado with some feta on top, 2 pieces of bacon, some scrambled eggs and a tiny cup of fruit that contained a cube of watermelon, 3 blueberries and 1 grape for $19.99 .. I know it 's supposed to be a side serving, but come on.. for the price???? I would have even understood if I got a whole avocado, even a small one, seeing how prices for them are insane, but they gave me a quarter, if that.I feel what they offered isn 't worth what I got. Just disappointing.Also ordered a Big Breakfast for $21.79 that came with soggy bread, cold eggs and dry potatoes. Oh, and they forgot the syrup for the pancakes and the ham slices were cold cut deli type.This location leaves much to be desired.Spend your money elsewhere."
