"I wish I could eat here every day. Had lunch here on a quick visit to PEI and all 3 of us loved our meals. I had the Whaler and it was the closest thing to “fish” that I can remember having as a vegan. Perfect for being by the sea. I cannot wait to come back and wish I’d been able to go more than once during my visit."

"I didn’t realize all of if not most of their doughnuts are made with a cinnamon based plain dough.. it tastes just like a plain timbit! Still a really tasty snack if you’re looking to try something new and cute though I probably wouldn’t come back for more myself. Really expensive for what you’re getting! update: they’ve said their donuts are 3.75 but for whatever reason my donuts came to around 15$ Hence my complaint. Just watch what you’re being charged as their may be some confusion! Staff was super kind and welcoming though 10/10 for service!"

"Went to Great Canadian Bagel yesterday. In addition to our two bagel sandwiches, we also bought a tub of cream cheese. When we opened it, it was about a third empty. I took it back in and asked why it was so empty. I said I had been buying them for years and have never run into this. The owner told me he fills them all to weight: 225g. So, I checked it on a calibrated scale; it’s 162 grams… a 28% saving for the store but also a 28% rip off to the customer. Obviously they’re trying to cut costs. Guess we’ll have to find a new Saturday breakfast spot."

"Love the smell of fresh bread. Lots of desserts to choose from, in various sizes and quantities. Have bought their lasagna and chicken pot pie to heat and serve at home and they were delicious"

"I am from NY and this is the closest thing I found on the island so far to the NY style bagels I am used to. I always order the Canadian Back Bacon and Egg sandwich with mustard/mayo/butter/cheddar cheese and it is amazing. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The prices are good for the quality of food. Overall its a really good bagel place!"
