"I?m from Canada but I?m in the Charlotte area often. These are hands down THE best cakes I?ve had in both sides of the border. Oh how I wish they were in Canada. Cakes are moist and flavourful, and the icing is the perfect combination of sweetness without being too much. Truly decadent. Love me some red velvet but literally every flavour is wonderful."

"I?m a regular here and love the ice cream and all the dairy free options they have. My friends and I came in tonight and she ordered her ice cream and made sure to tell them she had a dairy allergy. They Lady that owns it gave her the whole run down ofchanging scoops and gloves and made us feel very comfortable, especially since we were here the night before with no problems.We got her ice cream and she started to have an allergic reaction after one or two bites. Thankfully paramedics were on thecorner and helped us give her her epiPen and she is okay. I went back in to figure out what flavor they had actually given heror let them know it was a possible cross-contamination and the Man that owns the place informed me that the whole cone and twoscoops in it were dairy. I explained to him that this was unacceptable especially since her ticket was marked with dairy allergyand even told us they would switch scoops, gloved, etc. He did not have much to say and brushed it off like it was nothing.Mainly ignored what i was saying and continued to ask one of the workers if he had changed his gloves. Sorry but the gloves werethe least of my worries considering you gave her a dairy cone and dairy ice cream. After having worked at an ice cream shopmyself and seeing how easy it is to follow the precautions to make a safe cone allergy free, I am extremely frustrated andupset with how carefree they handled it and did not ask if she was okay or anything after the fact. Will not be trusting thiscreamery with allergy concerns in the future."

"I had never heard of edible cookie dough until I saw this place, me and my friends immediately made it a priority to stop by. The experience was amazing, and the cookie dough was delicious. What really sold it, however was the owner. He was friendly and inviting and very clearly loves what he does. My only qualm is that I don't live in Waxhaw so I can't frequent his establishment. ps: Get the strawberry cheesecake, thank me later."

"Best kept secret. Maybe not a secret anymore? The homemade baked goods are bar none. I love their croissant breakfast sandwiches (baked in house) and they make the best Chai latte I've ever had. It's not a pre-packaged syrup/mix. My husband loves the Mocha Diablo latte. Great corner seating in cozy chairs with lamp lighting or table options. Also has a play kitchen for the kids."
