"Normally I wait a while before leaving a review but we just had the best meal in Paris with the best waiter ever. Onion soup, scallops with truffle risotto and the beef tartar were perfect, and the wine that our waiter Tim recommended accompanied the meal perfectly. Both the meal and the cheerful attitute Tim brought made our evening perfect. Thank you Tim, and if your bosses are reading this, they should give you a raise."

"Beef tartare was delicious, classic flavors, and it tasted fantastic. I didn't have the courage to try the Thai Beef Tartare on the daily menu... It seemed like a risk, especially when I asked the server if it was good and she just shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes. Fries were great. Dressing on salad was super. They put up with my terrible French. Felt local for business lunches inside despite this area being super touristy. So what's not to love?"

"We visited here on our second night in Paris. It was walking distance to our hotel. We made a reservation, but didn't need one as it is July and no place out of the main tourist area is very busy. We liked the fact that there were no other Americans, just locals it seemed. The food was good, basic cuisine - but everything seemed fresh. Not an extensive wine list, but what we had was very good. I wasn't sure which rose to have and the waitress took it upon herself to bring two tastes (I didn't ask) and did a blind taste test. The dessert was good as well. We had a disaster the next night (do NOT go to Au Metro14 - see my review), and left without finishing. We decided to pop back into Les Frangines and had wine and dessert and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Just a really nice experience."
