"This is a very cozy romantic little place. They have a lot of sea food choices and everything we had was shockingly good. I ordered octopus which was prepared perfectly and honestly enough for two. Our group ordered pasta with truffles, beef tartare and other lovely dishes. There is a very nice wine list with good choices by the glass. I think after two weeks in Rome looking for the best restaurants, this one stood out as number one and everyone in our party felt the same. We almost booked dinner while sitting for lunch."

"Amazing vegan cornetti (croissants)! They even have more than one vegan choice. I had the vegan chocolate cornetto for breakfast and it was soooo good . Also really great and delicious cappuccino. Plus, it’s really cheap! And the staff was also very nice, they even gave my boyfriend a face mask when he forgot his."

"Quaint little restaurant tucked away from the main traffic. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast.The white chocolate croissant was amazing as well as their pancakes. My wife and I enjoyed their coffee and they have the most refreshing fresh orange juice we've ever had. We even finished off our breakfast with some smooth shots of gin! Highly recommend."

"We had drinks and some light snacks there. The wait staff was fast and friendly, and the price was economical. We left a credit card and the manager tried to reach us on social media. I thought only small towns did that type of thing! We picked up our card the next day! Honest, great place!"

"Cozy and welcoming cafe that is a bit tucked aways from the city hustle. I went there at around 10:45 and the place is already sort of occupied inside. Breakfast was nice but I ordered for avocado toast brunch which was forgotten for almost 45 mins and I had to remind again, but it was not an issue. Just the avocado toast was a bit bland and felt like a bummer for the wait. However, the staff are very warm and friendly. Upon requesting to turn the volume down for 10 mins, they really accommodated by totally turning the music off for more than 15 mins, until I told it can be turned back on. So, overall I really enjoyed the place and felt welcomed by the staff. I would recommend Materia Cafe if you would like to hang out with friends or want to work."
