"Unfortunately, it is a noticeable service drop, and I believe that it is driven by the lack of qualified staff, there are some standards they need to maintain. the reviewers were really good, twice dinated in a week and noticed some variations. anyway, weren't so good, the salmon was very thin and dry and the spike wasn't the best cut. great location, beautiful location hopefully get better"

"Our party of eight was too tired to want to go out to a restaurant, so we decided just to eat at the small restaurant in the Hilton Hotel. Service was very good we were seated quickly even without a reservation, got our drinks, and didn’t have to wait long before the food arrived. For a small place there was a lot of variety I had the Tandoori Salmon, served with roasted cauliflower and a mango chutney, which was piping hot, beautifully spiced and nicely presented, while my husband had an enormous turkey club sandwich with Caesar salad that he was very happy with. The teens had calamari with tzatziki, yam fries, salads, and a pork chop with mashed potato. My daughter had the poke bowl, while her husband had a burger. We ended with desserts chocolate lava cake with ice cream for the teens, while I had the cheese cake. The ambiance was very pleasant, a bit of a view of BC Place out the large windows, not crowded, not noisy, not too fancy. (Note: The restaurant is not visible from the street you have to go into the Hilton Hotel and go up one floor)"

"I have eaten at The Dunbar many times and have always enjoyed it. The food is above average quality for a pub. There are usually good specials and besides the beer, they make some good cocktails. Service has always been friendly and attentive."
