"Dec. 2012. The wife and I visited Scotty's twice while in NYC for our anniversary. The first day we had brunch. She had the NY Pastrami wrap which she raved about. The wrap included cheese, dijon mustard, a mountain of pastrami in a wrap. It was accompanied by fries, a pickle and cole slaw. I had a bacon, egg cheese omelet, which was very good. It came complete with country potatoes and toast. The morning staff was very nice and attended to our every need. A+ for our morning trip.<br/ <br/ The second time we went was a late night dinner, as we spent all day running around NYC doing some Christmas shopping. That night my wife got the corned beef wrap, again with fries, a pickle and cole slaw. I went with the open faced roast beef sandwich. It was accompanied with mashed potatoes and corn. As good as her pastrami wrap was, she said that the corned beef wrap was the opposite. The wrap was soggy, the meat was tough and had little to no flavor. The roast beef was tender, hot and was plentiful. I had to get a to-go plate because I couldn't eat it all. We also got a piece of strawberry cheesecake that was fantastic. The night staff was not nearly as nice as the morning staff. The cashier was rude and the wait staff in the evening was not as effecient as the morning staff. Overall, Scotty's was a good place and we will try again when we are back in NYC, but only for breakfast or brunch.<br/ <br/ C- for our evening trip."

"Unbelievably rude cashier. She does not even speak good English herself but gave me the ugliest-looking when I had to repeat 4 times I ordered a bagel with eggs. She charged me 15 dollars and I told her that was incorrect. Eventually, the other person standing behind the counter told her what was the order and she just rolled her eyes. Terrible place. There are many other good bagel shops in the neighborhood."

"Love this place. Have been coming here for years, and the quality of the ingredients are simply top notch. Branzino, Shish kebabs of any kind, stuffed chicken, stuffed cabbage, salads, and any and all dips are delicious— you just can’t go wrong. Wines are good pours too, and the ambiance is awesome— big clean tables, nice outdoor canopies they even hold up in torrential rain we’ve been there twice!. Service is quick, friendly and always professional. Plus, They kicked Covid in the butt— safe, physically distant tablesseparations and outdoor seating abounds. Kudos A La Turka. Thanks for being our favorite neighborhoodgotoplace"
