"I genuinely don’t understand how on earth this place got a mention in the Michelin guide. The insalubrious toilets should have been sufficient to it never making it into the guide. The entire place if absolutely filthy! The ambiance is that of a school canteen and apart from the bar area lacks all charm and proper decoration. The staff are not particularly pleasant nor attentive. The menu is very big. However the contents of the plates leaves a great deal to be desired. This place isn’t even a pale competitor to Manero, which is just down the road. It’s an oily, bland tourist trap."

"We had an absolutely awesome New Years Eve at this restaurant 2022/23. The food was wonderful and the wine was especially amazing. To us sustainability and animal welfare is important, and we really enjoyed our discussion with the owner regarding the origin of the different meats we were served. The wine was selected with great care, and some were from small specialized producers, which we really appreciated. The interior of the restaurant gives a pleasant acoustic, and I was able to converse with my wife without raising my voice. Not all popular restaurants manage that feat. Kudos!"
