"We were a table of three for a weekend lunch. My first impression was that the new owners have made some nice changes to the decor. We were able to sit outside on the front verandah shaded by foliage which was very pleasant. We ordered Tea (excellent) and three mains. The Melt was served on a wooden slab & was bland. Thick bread base with filing topped with cheese that was altogether hard to cut & the presentation was colorless & unappealing. Chips were good on the side! but a few chunks off radicchio was an odd accompaniment I order in house made gnocchi. A small serve arrived of spongy pasta pieces with No sauce. A tiny amount of avocado puree & sprinkled ? speck crumbs made this just edible, but would never reorder this. The Beef burger was also just so, with the comment of Just Ok. A bun, a beef pattie & a bit of relish with the same chips & chunky cut radicchio wrapped it up. Will return & try breakfast or Morning Tea as reviews seem better for these meals. I was surprised to see chefs in the kitchen when we went to pay as our comment during lunch was " a meal prepared by someone who cooks but has little cafe experiece""
