"Deciding without having booked a table that we would like to lunch at the Turenne we were gratified to find that by rearranging a couple of tables they were able to accommodate us. We had in fact eaten at the Turenne a couple of times during the height of the covid pandemic when the Turenne was one of the few restaurants with the facility to seat socially distantly and on the terrace, which is under cover. We always find the service here to be second to none; both the owner and the server are friendly, professional, helpful and welcoming. The food here is always very well cooked and well presented and on this particular day my husband had the breast of duck and vegetables and I had the lamb with couscous. We both had starters and desserts from the appropriate menus and thoroughly enjoyed our meals, especially as it was spur of the moment. We will definitely be back to this beautifully decorated and welcoming restaurant on a regular basis."

"Superb 4 course lunch with wine for €13.90. We had mushroom soup bread, mushroom vol au vent. Potato cake topped with chargrilled red peppers, topped with fresh fish fillet a creamy sauce. Choice of desserts included chocolate brownie, 2 chocolate cheesecake, strawberry crumble, or cheese plate. Couldn't fault it. Well worth a visit to Karen her team. Open mon-fri 12 til 2, friday evening sunday lunch"
