"A fantastic range of icecreams, sorbets, cakes & beautiful looking chocolates. We only had icecream & sorbets but they were delicious. The young man who served us was very friendly & spoke excellent English. He was also helpful pointing out what was suitable for our gluten/dairy intolerant son. Wish we'd been able to get chocolates as they really looked lovely but we were just about to start on a long car journey!"

".....we have reservations and were extremely surprised. Already the reservation with Mr. Kühbeck, very accommodating and completely uncomplicated. We were greeted very charmingly by Mrs. Kühbeck and the evening was excellent and absolutely professionally accompanied by both. We chose the vegetarian menu with a delicate garden chicken in the main course. For this we have tasted a 2016 White Pinot by van Volxem from the Saar region. From homemade bread, via Amuse bouche, fermented redwort, in dessert camomile blossom ice cream with chocolate and more, each product perfectly matched for itself, always integrates a touch of acid. The service of Ms. Kühbeck professionally, loosely and discreetly versed, always with discretion, cordially and equally dedicated. A duet absolutely played. The ambience in the historic building, old vault and yet with a modernity. So we immediately reserved a second evening to fourth and were intrigued again. We wish you all the best and look forward to seeing you next year, guaranteed..."

"We stayed at the Kempinski hotel for a weekend we tried the restaurant 2 times for dinner. The menu card is nothing special, the a la carte selection is very narrow. I ate a Wiener Schnitzel was ok but too much cover too few meat..for 25€ found it definitely overpriced. When we Arrived first we were given a menu card without any prices inside..when we asked what happened they realized they gave us a wrong card we received the card of the half-board guests, although nobody asked us before if we have half-board or anything! My boyfriend ordered a calf filet the waitress left without asking him how he would like the meat to be prepared. They gave us no wine card we had to ask for everything ourselves. We had 3 waiters during our dining and nobody of them cared about us to ask if we need anything. Service needs a lot of improvement, they are nice and very friendly, no question, but they are unorganized and unprofessional."
