"Situé dans la vielle ville de Berne, une très bonne brasserie de spécialités françaises. J'ai pris en entrée le foie- gras suivi de rognons à la moutarde. Les 2 plats étaient excellents et très copieux. Petit bémol, restaurant assez bruyant et une serveuse revêche."

"If you like salty food served by waiters who have no heart for their job, this is the place for you. The dessert was the only saviour. Brought the wrong sized bottle of water, and brought an additional bottle right size when the issue was...raised with them! Overbilled by one bottle of water on top of the two that we had. Only they know if it was deliberate or not. Do yourselves a favour and pop round the corner to Klosterli Weincafe."

"What could you ideally want on a freezing winter night, in a stately, quiet, medieval city like Bern? The unequivocal answer is: a touch of mediterranean warmth! And that’s exactly what we found at this quaint tapas restaurant, in the heart of the old part...of the old city of old Bern in front of the italianate city hall. The service was excellent provided by a handsome multiculti Persian-American-Swiss waiter. The tapas, just finger-licking good. Thankfully well crafted and not heavily olive-oil-garlic laden (a trick used by pseudo tapas restaurants attempting to reach out to the selective club of more authentic tapas restaurants). The pulpo was perfect. I could’ve eaten just that! By the way, if you don’t have a table, just stand at the bar. It is just as good."

"We wanted to try fondue which cost 37 CHF on the menu. Once we got the bill, we learned that it was 74 CHF instead. Nowhere on the menu it said that the price is “per person”. We’ve been to many restaurants in Switzerland and all the other restaurants always highlight if the price is per person in their menu. Regarding the fondue, we didn’t enjoy it that much. Maybe it’s just us though. Definitely not worth 74 CHF."

"Convenient spot right in the middle of the old town ... we were in shell-shock over the prices of food here .... we thought German food prices were high after living in Sicily ... Swiss is higher. A Big Mac medium combo meal was about...$14 dollars... but it was quick and we were hungry."
