"It's ok... They are trying to be a thing but they just don't capture what this thing is. The food is just average and is too expensive for what they are trying deliver. My partner's seafood dish was very salty and for £26 we both agreed it was worth around £14 at best. The table next to us both had steak and both said it was very chewy. I had their 3 fish dish which is the only savour of the meal as this was cooked well and very tasty. The final let down was the staff had no idea about what was fresh and what was not. They told me the prawns were fresh and caught off the coast of Brixham."

"This place is amazing. the staff is very nice and helpful. was great to be able to take the dog in the hand. eating was amazing. the cakes and creamtees were so delicious. I wish I had to try the breakfast menu. makes the trek so worth the city. oh and the prospects are also quite spectacular!"

"Had an absolutely incredible dinner here at the Curious Kitchen last night. Front of house was attentive and friendly, and all aspects of the decor and ambience were spot on- informal and tasteful. Chef Adam effortlessly brought together a beautiful 3 course meal, not before a delicate little amuse-bouche soup of squash and fresh sourdough with smoked butter. The summer veg salad was light and crunchy, followed by the star of the show, the lamb. Tender and rich with a stunning gravy and velvety minted Hollandaise, I could have buried my face in the plate. The lemon posset to finish was very clever, as it cleansed the pallet with sharp rhubarb and refreshing lemon, yet wasn't too heavy. An absolute triumph. Keep up the good work people"

"Nice mezze style menu with lovely fresh fish options. Pizzas freshly made to order. Needs a kids menu (although does offer kids sized pizzas which were very generous in size). They need to take care with attention to detail. One pizza was too charred (burnt) and my crab salad had an unforgivable amount of shell in it that made every mouthful unpleasant. Polish things up to get five stars Albero!"

"It was my mums 60th birthday and so we were staying in Brixham for a week and I wanted to order a cake made locally as we were travelling to get there. I found Trinity cakes who asked me what my mums interests were and made me a cake based on them. The cake was exactly what I was hoping for and tasted amazing. Would definitely use Trinity Cakes again and recommend them."

"Took my Dad here for his birthday treat. He's Spanish, values a tasty tapas and this terrific restaurant didn't disappoint. The service was warm and friendly from entrance to exit (they remembered I'd mentioned it was the old man's birthday and surprised him with an edible candle for his dessert). The food was amazing. Everything we shared was flavoursome and mouth-wateringly delicious but I'll emphatically recommend the Chorizo/Octopus dish AND the Beef Brisket. Have bored plenty of pals about these dished this past week. Very reasonably prices too. All in all, faultless and Torquay's very lucky to have this place."
