"I visited here for breakfast as the menu looked good. They had my booking wrong and had not set the table up properly. We then waited around minutes for someone to come and take our order. Once ordered, the food took a further minutes to arrive. The staff were not attentive and did not check up as to whether everything was ok. I will not return here again."

"All of look to scowl, used to words rudely add to the feeling that the manager is above the customer. I asked for an article and was told I gave it to them and it was there before old ..clearly no, you didn't do as it was. on your antiion a paper bag without word or smile was left to me. I asked for lean milk in my sonny baby chino and was told him from, out, as if my question was irrelevant. very rude, I will go elsewhere, esp, as I think she was the manager with her long black franse that covers her spicy eyes and her rude art and wise and too long nails."

"I was working in the Castle Hill area for a number of days and went to the Castle Hill Tav for lunch and dinner. The Tav has a good and generous lunch menu. It includes pub staples such as fish and chips, schnitzel, burgers...and even steak and chips. The meals are well sized and all come with chips. On the two occasions I have had lunch here, I found the meals to be well prepared and tasty. On the occasion I went for dinner here it was the Rugby League State of Origin Night. The Tav was well attended with a good quality crowd. Dinner options were again standard pub fare, but again well prepared and generous in proportions. The tap beer is quite good. It has good quality offerings from the big breweries such as James Squire Hop Thief, Toohey's Old and Coopers Pale Ale. Beer prices are reasonable by Australian standards for a pint of Hop Thief; for a pint of Old). I plan on being back at the Castle Hill Tav the next time I am in the area for work."

"Had lunch here with friends on the weekend. Staff are friendly. Variety of choice on menu from standard open melts to some decent Asian offerings like Singapore noodles. Food was tasty and overall everyone enjoyed their meal. One disappointment was that they overcharged the drinks...as bill came to $5 more than what each person chipped in (as they did not do separate bills) so was rather disappointed by that."

"Love their milk chocolate chip cookies. a good mix of things available. though I don't recommend the milkshakes, the two I've had left me feeling sick for the rest of the day. Price is edging up towards too expensive."

"Milkshakes, concretes and burgers, love this combo! Burgers are good! The milk buns are fluffy, buttered and charged on the inside and the meat patty’s are pressed to reasonable thickness. I think there’s room for improvement, hence the 4 star but all in all, good burgs."
