"Last year we were already in Daun and discovered this beautiful café. At that time, however, we were always tired or there was no afternoon café time. During this year's visit we agreed better. Last Thursday the weather was not so good. So the right time to go to Café Schuler. My husband always goes to the genetically deposited piewecker in the afternoon, I joined. The café is just too beautiful. It is best to park on one of the public parking spaces and walk to the café. Parking is in the business streets of Daun. Service: The owner welcomed us friendly and advised us in detail at the Tortentheke. Since it was somewhat rainy and very cool, we took place in the interior of the café. Here we ordered our drinks. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Food and Beverage: 1 Latte macchiato to € 3.30 and 1 piece of folklore € 2.80 for me. 1 cup of coffee to € 2,10 and 1 piece of lemon cheese cake € 2,70 for my husband. Kay Schuler is here personally the confectioner and ice cream master. On the way, I have to say that I'm not a fool at all. If, then more cake without cream. During our café house visit, even the weather improved. So I could swim a few calories in the wonderful Maar in the evening! A good day."

"Wir waren am Samstag, den 08.07.17 mit guten Freunden gemeinsam dort und hatten uns auf ein kulinarisches Highlight gefreut. Was dann kam, war eine einzige Enttäuschung. Eine völlig "schräge" Bedienung, eine äußerst übersichtliche Speisekarte und kleine überschaubare Gerichte, die man fast nur mit der Lupenbrille wahrnimmt und die einem dann zum 3-Gänge-Menue Wucherpreis von 68,- EUR angeboten werden. Wir haben noch in keinem Restaurant ein derart unstimmiges Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis erlebt. Es geht nicht um das Geld, sondern es geht darum, was einem dafür geboten wird und das war von der Menge und dem Geschmack nicht ansatzweise den Preis wert. Schlichtweg eine Unverschämtheit. Und die Bedienung spottet jeder Beschreibung. Nachdem wir akustisch nicht sofort verstanden hatten, daß es sich um Ziegenkäse handelte und nochmal nachfragten, bekamen wir nur ein blödes "mää" zur Antwort. Sollte wohl witzig sein, war aber einfach nur blöd und einem vermeintlichen Gourmet-Restaurant völlig unangemessen. Was den Abend dennoch zu eibem schönen Abend machte, war das Zusammensein mit guten Freunden. Aber das Restaurant: never again. Da sind 2 Sterne schon zuviel."

"Wonderful dinner choice for Valentines! Very nice inside dining area with a clean farmhouse feel. Beautiful patio if the weather is right too. The steaks were both great, ribeye and lady cut filet. Ribeye is a better cut. Our child had the pasta and really enjoyed it. Salad bar was very fresh. We will definitely go back!"
