"Wir waren am Langlauf-Weltcup im Dezember in Davos und wollten im Bünda zu Mittag essen. Die Bedienung war zwar nett, aber lausig. Eine Weinkarte gab es nicht, nach nochmaligem Nachfragen kam ein Zweierli weisser Merlot, den wir zu Hause nicht mal zum Kochen verwenden würden. Dann hatten wir zweimal Rösti bestellt, es kam aber nur eine. Das Personal war komplett unterbesetzt und drum unterfordert. Man weiss doch, dass an diesem Woche gleich nebenan eine Sportveranstaltung stattfindet, dann kann man sich doch auch entsprechend drauf vorbereiten. Schade, schade..."

"It was my third visit to Davos and to this hotel in particular, this time with my parents, my wife and my sister and her family. breakfast is truly international! We also went there for dinner, it's authentic regional Swiss food, service was excellent, food is succulent and fairly priced (Swiss standard)"

"Restaurant Emerald is one of the few Chinese restaurants in Davos. It is located near the Hotel Seehof. We called up and booked a table here (as many of the other restaurants in Davos were booked up). However, when we turned up, the waiter did...not seem too keen to sit us down. Thereafter, we ordered soup and some dishes. It took them 45 minutes to bring out the soup, and this was after having complained to them several times about the slow service. The soup was very average, and should not have taken so long to prepare. Our main dishes did not arrive for another 30 minutes. Every time we asked where our food was, we were either ignored or the waiter would just nod his head and run off. We feel that they should have at least told us if they were having troubles in the kitchen or there was some reason why the food would take longer than expected. We complained again at the end of the meal, but they did not apologise or admit fault. It was as though this was a completely normal situation to them. The food was not great, either too salty or too bland, and it was definitely not worth the 75 minute wait. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone."
