"The cigarette smoke from the casino is awful. TAP is in a open area to the casino, so all the smoke, noise, and “ambiance” is a shared experience. We had reservations, they sat us at a table, we ordered appetizers, then came to us and said our table was reserved and we would have to move. So they moved us two tables away. Strange. The wait staff were slow, distracted, but had plenty of time to talk and fool around among themselves. Our food was very good, especially the fried Mac n cheese, and the burgers"

"The Whitney is a part of Detroit’s history, this is definitely a must see. The staff is extremely accommodating and efficient at what they do. The hidden gem is the ghost bar in the third floor, they serve drinks and desserts. They have specialty drinks such as the Witching Hour, expresso martini’s, and Tony’s specialty drink. The Whitney is so enjoyable for every occasion!!!"

"Good Cakes and Bakes … ooo weee.Danielle told me that the baked goods I purchased were going to make me think somebody’s grandma was in the kitchen…she was right. I bake, so I know quality goods. JUST like there’s a fashion BAKED goods place in our area that uses boxed cake mix. I bought four different items but only two pictures are attached. I bought a vegan brownie for a coworker who I asked to give me her honest opinion…she loved the vegan brownie. She said it was delicious and moist; she’d definitely have it again. I shared a spinach, tomato, feta quiche with my sister and she loved it (I wanted it to have more feta, that’s just me). I treated myself to TWO slices of rum cake and a slice of lemon velvet cake. Baaaby, when I tell you that I was excited about my choices. I know I shouldn’t buy a whole cake or go there every week, but I have absolutely found my new bakery for when I want sweets that meet both my approval and desires. The rum cake has the perfect amount of rum; my hand is a little heavier. That lemon velvet cake…I deserved every moist morsel of the three layer cake with real frosting. Rename the place … GREAT CAKES AND BAKES…grandma’s spirit is in the kitchen."

"The happy hour is great! Half off appetizers if you sit in the bar dining area. Vegan nacho cheese and chips, and spinach artichoke dip are delicious as well as the shisito peppers and cauliflower! Order a beer on tap or some wine. There is an extensive wine selection and any cocktail as well. While Seva is not fully vegan they have now made most of their items vegan. The yam sauce is vegan and mac cheese, etc. weekdays have different drink specials for happy hour. Check their Instagram for more specials. Breakfast served all day! It is on the pricier side though. "Great Menu options. Please don't ask them to split a check... apparently that's a trigger word.Service started out excellent, then dwindled, but not all servers, as most of them were great throughout the evening.The food was very flavorful, and the restaurant was veey accommodating for last-minute groups.Our party enjoyed their meals and cocktails. Unfortunately, I didn't take pics, but everything was plated well. Pasta should have been served with a spoon as well, but with experience, they will learn. Highly recommend for groups who want different types of food. Parking was convenient as well."
