"Well I didn't expect that. This little authentic Italian restaurant away from main area performs above its weight for sure. We arrived without a reservation and despite it being busy was able to get a table. Exceptional service from the front desk by the Manager Arturs. With great knowledge on the the menu. Debbie our Waitress was as good with engaging conservation and genuinely interested. Pizza was unreal, we had deserts as well. Desert of the day was Chocolate Mouse, best all time. Thanks for a great meal and experience."

"One of the best coffee shops in Q’town. Had the Tasman blend for a double espresso and the Canterbury blend for a piccolo both were wonderful, but the Tasman made a very smooth double shot. The tan slice was a unique, tasty (not overly sweet) Scottish accompaniment to the drinks."

"Absolutely amazing! The staff were wonderfully friendly and happy. We had our 1 year old with us and they accommodated us quickly and with ease. The decor of Britannia is perfect! It creates an amazing dining experience. The food was superb and so well priced for the quality and quantity served. Do yourself a favour and have a meal there."

"Quaint restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Fantastic service. Good pasta and pizza.... My recommendation would be the fish and prawn pizza- interesting concept."

"We dined on 22/10 and had a lovely evening. We were seated by the window and as it was our 1st wedding anniversary, the waitress who was delightful throughout, gave us a glass of champagne each, on the house which was a lovely surprise. My husband started with the prawns which were delicious and I had the soup (very tasty). We both had the Shepherds Pie (not your run of the mill type). It may sound boring but it was beautiful. I wish I had something different just to try an extra dish and compare, so next time, I'll go for a steak"
