"After being enticed by the generous samples on display I instantly fell in love . These are without a doubt the best Waffles I have ever tasted. They aren’t your typical dessert parlour waffles which are dry or tasteless , these waffles are moist and almost flaky inside resembling a croissant like texture , it’s honestly to die for. There is a fantastic array of toppings and extras such as Waffle ice cream sandwiches and fruit chocolate toppings. I opted for the Black White Waffle which had Whipped Cream and Milk Chocolate sauce. My Waffle was only £3.50 which is a absolute bargain compared to the overly expensive dessert parlours which charge anywhere from £6-8 for a very average waffle A must try for Waffle Fanatics !"

"We had a great time in grove on the hill today. her lukerent perrier champagner was exquisite and chilled and had a great refreshing taste. the meat of the lamb was super soft and tasty and the potato carrots had a beautiful spicy and seasoned on it. her 4 staggioni pizza is also amazing! the house made tiramisu was very creamy but not too sweet. the personal is very friendly and attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. I would like to come back soon and try other dishes!"

"It was a Thursday evening and we arrived about 7.30. They weren't too busy but it filled up a bit later. We were offered a variety of breads to start. Lots of choice on the menu. I ordered the duck with orange and brandy sauce. When it came it was half a duck, beautifully cooked with a delicious sauce. I ordered saute potatoes and courgettes, which were coated in thin batter and deep fried. Everything was gorgeous. My companions had steak and lamb dishes, also excellent. Since it was my birthday we had dessert. They have a dessert trolley from which you can choose more than one dish. There was trifel, cheesecake, fruit salad, tiramisu, lemon tart, chocolate mousse, chocolate cake, creme brulee and possibly more. The service was exemplary and the bill not outrageous. Highly recommended."

"Excellent, prompt service from the staff with thorough COVID measures put in place. The food arrived very quickly and tasted excellent (did not have time to take a ‘before’ photo as it tasted so good). Unfortunately no tissues were provided, hence the 4*. Choice of music could also be improved."

"Have walked past so many times and finally went in. I ordered a dessert a crepe with banana and chocolate. It was HUGE and delicious. Really reasonably priced."

"This is a wonderful cafe with excellent food and the service is excellent too. A man, obviously a regular customer, came in while I was there. He was greeted by all the members of staff and I could tell why he went there often. I was sad I was just passing through!"

"Love the food at Ahimsa. Especially the bowls. I am Vegan, but non-Vegan friends love the food as well. In fact one friend has said the ‘Wraps’ are the best she has tasted. Staff are very efficient and pleasant. Also love the different art works on the wall. Can recommend 100%."
