"As we drive around Amherst and Stevens Point, we found Iola. And boy we're glad we made it!! The crystal cafe was an explosion from the past. to be a four-generation beam exact. The burgers were good burgers, but BETTER! Loaded pommes are delicious and only greasy enough. Soup special was tomatoes / soil... perfect for the dune of my grilled ham and cheese sammie. You can enjoy a beer/wine or have a cup of coffee. Prices are very affordable, but the best of the menu is their award-winning homemade cakes. We took a piece of apple crêpe and our friends got a big piece of coconut cream. The staff was so friendly and sweet. No problem. We also saw antique shops, but we were on a mission. You will enjoy every bite here!"
