"Very enjoyed our meal here. the atmosphere is nothing to talk, but the food quality is high. they are only open in the morning and closed at 2 o'clock. were generous. we liked the swarm, the Teriyaki chicken and the grilled fish sandwich. we also ordered the big suppe and later had enough rest for a meal in the hotel. $72 plus tipp. They have breakfast all day, but we didn't try that. we were there for lunch. cash payment to avoid a 4% surcharge for credit cards."

"What a find! This place is wonderful. Kona doesn't have much to look forward to food wise but Rapa Nui's is a shining ray of light. The location is just ok but the food is excellent and reasonably priced. We came across a great write up in a local paper and so decided to try it out ourselves. It was so memorable that we've been back several times since and we even take friends when they come to town. Oh, and remember to leave room for desert they have some unusual offerings that are well worth trying. My favorite's are the Wasabi Peanut Butter Balls. Sounds weird, I know, but they are dipped in chocolate and have a wonderfully complex flavor."

"My wife and I had a wonderful breakfast here. twice baked chocolate croissant and bacon and cheese crepes with an egg. The chief/owner was very friendly and his staff at the front were very sweet."
