"In search of seafood in San Jose on our last night in Cabo, we were pulled to Tropico based on it 's excellent reviews. It ended up being the best meal of our entire week, and by far the most affordable! The aguachile and ceviche was fresh and absolutely delicious, we felt like we could have eaten and eaten it for days. The atmosphere has a hole in the wall feel, but the food more than holds its own. It just goes to prove that you absolutely do not need a fine dining experience to have really good food. I wish we would have come at the start of our trip, because we would have come again and again, but we will definitely be back next time we are in Cabo! And as a bonus, their sweet dog Lola keeps you company while you dine. :"

"All around one of the most inclusive and welcoming resorts my wife and I have been to. The staff at El Barrio were by far what made the experience that much more magical and memorable. Elizabeth, Laura, and Noel truly welcomed us into what felt like home. My wife and I could not fathom what breakfast would be like without them! To the conversations we relished in, to the accommodations they made for us during the peak of their hottest season, we cannot thank them enough. They made us feel welcome and special through our time there. My wife and I have discussed about returning as much as we can. Could not thank the staff enough for the hospitality and awestruck experience we had. This place is phenomenal."
