"We decided to dinner in la guinguette because of its great location on a river with views of libourne. the restaurant has a large beautiful terrace next to the river. the service in the restaurant shocked us. the lady (or dear girl) served us. saw a bad day to have and had no fear to let their customers know. other staff was also unfriendly. we had a starter and main course, both were more moderate. the carpaccio is the outstanding farewell by being too salty. would not recommend this despite the beautiful location."

"Very good value for money, the products are fresh and homemade. lunch on a nice terrace. simple and effective reception. service fast enough. fries are home and desserts too (the chocolate melt is to fall). We will not hesitate to come back to lunch here :)"

"From start to finish a very satisfying experience. We booked in person in the morning and found out the owner spoke very good English. When we arrived for the meal he kept apologising for his poor English which was far better than my non existent French. I had the goats cheese salad which was delicious and the steak, Morceau de Boucher, for my main, both were absolutely excellent. We also had an amuse Bouche of chips, his little joke, which were tasters of Salmon, Pate and a Serrano type ham. All in all a truly satisfying experience. Did I mention the terrific wine and lovely Armagnac at the end. I will go back next time we are in Libourne."

"We had lunch in a room at the bottom since the large room (lightly it) was reserved for staff meals. the map is expensive, the hamburger is perfect but the fries are really too average to justify a price at 18€. No carafe wine."

"Small passage between friends on a Sunday to make a stop.Nothing to say about the preparation which are good however a sign external indicated a product and the hood, after our order of the said product told us that it did not have them but another inside, a sign indicated the price the other step.But otherwise it was nice"
