"We had a late breakfast here on Friday before the lunch. there were several tables outside and several inside that had diners. we chose two of their cunning, one with beef and spinach and the other with steak and pfeffer. both came with hate brown and our choice of toast. the ulcers themselves had that “cooked to order” taste – the corked bark really tasted like cured bark meat and not from the dose. my steak had tasteful discs of steak and well cooked paprika and swirling. hash browns were a bit limp and mushy. the pace was slow and relaxed. parking spaces behind the square were present, but divided by a series of shops, so it was crowded. more beautiful place if they are not in a hurry."

"This place is truly a gem. We ordered takeout last night and the food was better than ever. Elf gem salad perfection, and they could’ve fooled me with the vegan feta. Risotto with mushroom “pancetta” incredibly delicious and comforting. Halloumi cheese w kale So. Good. Chocolate mouse w coconut cream paired with a glass of red wine after those entrees, *chefs kiss* Absolutely love this place, please support if you can. It was the first nice restaurant we ate at when we moved here two years ago, and would be devastated if they didn’t make it through these tough times."

"Really the worst Mediterranean restaurant. So disappointing. They gave us no water until they broke out our main courses. The pommes were so delicate and unsalted. The packaging felt very amateur, just thrown together like someone at Chipotle. Her Urfa meat tasted like a frozen Hamburgerpatty. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Better go to stop n dash or falafel. And that will be half the price."

"Food was delicious, but we ordered 4 drinks (3 coffees and a milkshake) and never got them. Had to go up and ask for the drinks 20 minutes after receiving our food, and they still forgot one of the coffees. I think the front makes the drinks and the kitchen makes the food; hats off to the kitchen as the food was great and came fast."

"The restaurant was conveniently located for us and the menu looked good. When we arrived they had no way to check a reservation and didn't have a table ready for us. It took about 15 minutes for someone to even greet our table, so we could already decide on our dinner when a server spoke to us for the first time. It then took another 25 to 30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. We had a Caesar Salad, Slider and Lobster Mac and Cheese and I wouldn't order anything more. The beer was good and it seemed a fun place. There was live music which was really good but the whole place was so loud that it was impossible to talk to."

"My family and I were guests of good family friends of ours who are also regularly here, so the service was fantastic. The cook came and spoke to most customers who are always refreshing to see not only because of the kindness but also to actually see a cook in his restaurant! This certainly didn't happen to most high-end restaurants I was in LA. At the big group, I have to try many different things – pawns, scallops, steak, lobster risotto, different cheeses and a few desserts. The Risotto was my favorite dish – balanced, well-seasoned, good lobster and mushroom taste. The shrimps were very fresh and tasty, but a bit overcooked – perhaps the salt-eating method of cooking made it more difficult to time it? Other salty seafood I had in fine restaurants were also overcooked. The steak, a first class NY cut, was not bad – properly cooked, but not so tasteful. The cheeses were all very good – we glued 4 or 5 of the milder cheeses they had – and there was a great variety that we did not even try. Desserts were probably the weak point – smarter and more adventurous than satisfying. The prices seem too high because of the location and portions. No gut less than $40. Most appetizers in the $25-30 range."

"The remodeled Katella Deli looks fantastic. The food was very good and the service was above par. I want all of our local businesses to do well. Ordered the Chicken breast melt sandwich and it was very tasty, but customers expect a little more chicken in the sandwich than what was provided, see photo. Not many return patrons if this the new standard. Sad..."
