"The location is superb. The food is a bit less than average. We had a pizza, which was OK and a spaghetti carbonara, also OK, but readymade and withour uch taste. When asking for a small bottle of water they serve a brand imported from...Italy. I consequently downscale with one star when this happens on hotels and restaurants. It is a disgrace to let plain water travel thousands of kilometer in these climatedays. Prices are too high and service not very good"

"I often go to the corner and like to go to the bakery. today the representative didn't feel that way. They chose a pre-filled (there was nothing else in the bar) and asked if they wanted to smash me more half with mett. but they hadn't met there anymore, I wasn't even offered an alternative, and when I wanted to pay, she couldn't change mine, so I went hungry. I'm avoiding the last of them bitterly."

"Pleasant cafe with a small menu of good paninis quiche and cakes. Staff were friendly but service was a little slow. A basic lunch of 2 paninis, 2 slices of quiche, 2 coffees, a cola and a smoothie was 43 Euros, so not the cheapest option for a quick basic bite but not outrageously pri especially either."

"Who loves marzipan, for whom I can only recommend loading. many tourist destinations (also known as tourist guides). I would not buy myself there. find the load too commercial, expensive and oriented towards tourist. Whoever is in the city anyway should look in."

"We were in the Marzipan store 2 times at the beginning of November 2015 and would do so immediately upon a new visit to Lübeck. Unlike in the Niederegger, the cafe and the shop (which is located in the outbuilding) have been divided in the Marzipan store, so that you don't have to fight through visitors' halls. The memory acts primarily by being a memory. Fortunately, you did not modernize and made a Schickimicki cafe. Stirring wooden beams, sprout windows and a cosy atmosphere with beautiful ceiling lights. The seating is loose and not as crowded as in the Niederegger. No operation at the table, but self-service at the bar just a few meters away. The service behind the counter is friendly and unobtrusive and the quality of the cake is excellent. We tried a total of 4 cakes at two visits. On the street side beautiful views of the undertrave and on the back on the designed courtyard, on which you can sit in summer. So clear recommendation. The same applies to the sale next door: not overloaded, not rumbled, but (in the beginning Advent season) atmospheric and inviting to browse. In the upper floor, a well-made exhibition, lovingly decorated and clearly better than the disappointing marzipan exhibition at the Niederegger. Conclusion: we like to come back."

"Niederegger ist ganz sicher eine Institution, so auch die Filiale in Travemünde. Das Frühstück ist von guter Qualität, sehr standardisiert, ebenso die Torten, relativ kleine Stücke, handwerklich aber gut gemacht und geschmacklich zuverlässig lecker. Sicher einen Besuch wert. Für jeden Tag aber zu monoton."
