"I’ve been to this location many times and have always had wonderful service. The food was excellent and the price was under 10.00 for a good size plate of food. I got 3 eggs, 4 strips of bacon, toast, hash browns and coffee. Can’t beat...that for under 10.00. I highly recommend going there if you can."

"I love this place went to dinner and got it for a special $5 dinner box half noodles and roasted rice with 2 different types of chicken You tell me it was good worth it better than the one in Scarborough Town Center... where they don't even fill the box!!! Very recommended! We need more locations in Markham!"

"This is an all you can eat sushi restaurant, with no option to choose a la carte menu.This is right in the Markham Place and one of the most busiest parking in the area. I do not necessarily choose a restaurant because of parking, but because of food quality and reputation. I will only complain about parking when I am dissatisfied with the food or the service. Or both.You get a tablet to choose from a variety of sushi, appetizer and desert items.It seems that the selection has shrunk from what I would normally have expected. I think that the fish and sushi items on the menu are well within acceptable minimum, but there seem to be a limited selection for beef. This does not really bother me today as I was just craving for Sushi. Tomorrow might be a different story.I am more than happy with the quality and freshness. By freshness, I mean the degree of excellence in terms of appearance, texture, odour and flavour. Totally acceptable.The orders seems to flow well, and not everything dumped on your table all at once. It looks like all items we ordered were fulfilled at the work order line item, leaving nothing on back order.Desserts came exceptionally fast.Atmosphere was casual, just a tad loud.I normally drive around with a driving licence, a credit card and my phone.Fortunately, today I had my debit card, as they only accept cash or debits. Otherwise, I might have ended in the kitchen washing dishes to pay back.Will come back again."

"Inspire is an awesome restaurant and always at the top of my list when picking a place to dine out in Markham. This is a tiny restaurant with fabulous food and friendly service. I’ve tried many of the dishes on the menu and have never...been disappointed. If you enjoy Asian fusion and amazing food, this is an awesome place. Make a reservation as it’s busy every night."

"Pleasant décor. Pleasant reception. Our server was Ashley and she did an excellent job. I ordered the hamburger, and found it quite a disappointment. The ground beef tasted as if at had no seasoning at all. It was bland. It was also full of grease. It would appear that the beef was not 'extra lean' or even 'lean'. I have had much better at many other places."

"While the quality of food was awful I cannot fault the service. Service from staff was good. The food quality was awful. Tasted like everything was pre frozen then cooked. Took a long time for the food to arrive. Everything was way too salty or spicy. The cheesecake was disgusting and the whip cream had gone bad.I cannot believe I paid money for this food. Never again!"

"The School is a true 5 star restaurant in Markham worthy for that special occasion that will make you leave satisfied. The steak I had was superb and the chef was able to customize to my preference. Oddly I have spent more money on steak at Joey's and the Keg so this is by far a better venue to dine in. Supporting local businesses instead of the line chef cook by numbers establishments."

"I visited the restaurant with my boyfriend as we were gifted a Groupon to use for a quiet night out. I was a little apprehensive about going since the reviews seems to be all over the place. First off, the location is a little odd (in a small strip mall on the corner of a major intersection leading into a residential area), but don't let that bother you. Once inside, the decor is a little strange. Ocean/island themed, with stringed Christmas-type lights hanging form the ceiling, a "tree" in the middle of the dining room, and glass-topped tables with sand/shells underneath. Some reviewers found this off-putting, but I thought it was very cozy, and definitely something kids would love if they visited.So, on to the food. We had a 6 course meal. The shrimp cocktail was awesome! Flavorful and large shrimp, accompanied with a nice selection of Salad greens. The Lobster bisque was great, but did not contain any chunks of lobster that we could see. The salad was awesome! Again, with a nice selection of greens, and covered in a flavorful dressing. It was nice not to be served a run of the mill iceberg lettuce-based salad.On to the main courses...I ordered the lamb, while my date ordered the steak, and as main dishes, we were very happy with the size of portions served, and they were cooked just as ordered (Med-rare for the lamb, and Med-well for the steak). Extra points for that, since so many places that proclaim to be steak houses get this WRONG.Service was fast and courteous. The food was not "mind-blowing" exceptional, but we did enjoy everything we ate. I really liked the ambiance of this place, and would definitely recommend it for a date night. I liked that it wasn't overly fancy or pretentious, and seemed to be a great place to bring kids as well."

"If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would!! Horrible dining experience!! I went to this restaurant tonight with my family for dinner and was extremely disappointed. I have frequented this establishment several times in the past but today was the first time I was treated like a thief. We had a party of 5 adults and were seated. I was not feeling hungry enough to have AYCE so I selected a bento box. Immediately the waitress said everyone has to have AYCE at the table. I explained that I did not want AYCE and simply wanted to order a bento box. I further explained that I would only be eating my food and none of the AYCE that the other members would be ordering. I even pointed out that I am sitting right on the end in their full view so that they could see what I'm eating. Ultimately the servers would NOT allow me to sit at the same table at the restaurant with the rest of my family and made me sit at another table apart from my family because they felt I would steal food from other members of my party. I came into the restaurant with the hope to dine with my family but was seated as a single diner at a totally separate table. This was absolutely bizarre, awkward and upsetting for everyone in the party. The waitress even tried to sway my husband to agree that it was acceptable. How delusional is this server!! If this was only my husband and I attending I would have left right at the beginning but I was with other senior family members that were looking forward to a sushi dinner. I definitely voiced my displeasure. On the way out when dinner had ended, another diner approached and told me she could not believe that had happened to me. She fully supported my displeasure and felt that a restaurant has to be smart about how they treat customers. She felt their actions were inappropriate and would just result in a loss of business in the future. This lady is absolutely right and and I will never again pay money at this establishment and I will make sure any potential customers be warned of the prejudice and assumptions that they will experience. RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! There are many Japanese restaurants nearby... spend your money elsewhere! This restaurant clearly doesn't want to treat customers with dignity"
