"We are repeat visitors to the Colonel Williams and would not stay anywhere else! We so look forward to our visits, and each time we go we’re made so welcome by the owners who really cannot do enough to please their guests. The Inn is charming, warm and inviting and you will seriously not find a more delicious breakfast in Vermont. Victoria is the most amazing chef and will accommodate all your requirements. On our most recent stay we enjoyed warm chocolate chip muffins, steel cut oatmeal baked and served with pecan granola, fresh fruit, crispy bacon and chocolate chip pancakes especially for the children. Breakfast is included with the room. Comfortable and warm bedrooms with crisp luxury linens and Gilchrist Soames toiletries; a fully stocked bar; roaring fire; cozy lounge and entertainment; and the most friendly hosts…seriously what more could you need?"

"First I want to say it's nice to have food back in Marlboro. The coleslaw was good. The side salad was fresh and had real bacon bits, which for me was a nice surprise. The baked beans were delicious and full of shredded pork. The right amount of sweet and tangy. The rib meat fell off the bone when I picked them up and were very good although maybe a touch dry, but nothing the bbq sauce didn't fix. The only disappointment was the corn bread. Very dry. But not a deal breaker for me. I will definitely go back and I look forward to eating the brown in a bit."

"I had made some custom cakes over the years, but that was by far the BEST. I chose Mad Batter for the convenience of his situation that was close to me. (The quality of the other cakes in their pictures also looked great) Am I lucky or what? The pictures speak in detail for themselves with work. The owner communicated with me all the time that made me feel comfortable and confident I was too great why I asked. Oh yes, it's so beautiful! Mad Batter will definitely be my way!!"

"This is the 4th time in a week that I have frequented this D&D. I usually do not go here because of poor service in past. It has not changed and actually has gotten worse. the only reason I give two stars is they did get coffee order correct. The staff is not friendly and not engaging in the customer experience. Long waits... Absolutely minimal response to questions or comment. This store needs a customer service rep to do some serious training. I will drive to 7-11 across street from now on."

"So disappointed! Got a Spiderman cake for my son's birthday. Compared with the picture on the website the cake was a pink orange color, not red. Had black lines on it that were supposed to look like a web but looked like a 5yo did it, same issue with the happy birthday message on the cardboard. So disappointed!
