"The restaurant Le Rivage recently changed ownership, and all previous testimonials are now obsolete. The interior is still the same, but the famous terrace alongside the Loiret is now dirty and unkept, with cheap plastic chairs, a cheap plastic menu card, gone are the famous lobster and seafood dishes, now replaced with a limited choice, offered at extremely high prices! I have been a loyal customer for 30 years, have beautiful souvenirs of meals with family and friends, and entertained many customers. Last weekend I returned for a birthday lunch, saw the disaster, paid €170 for two, and left extremely disappointed. My advice: go to Eugène at Orléans, where the restaurant, the chef, and the service are perfect, and where you will enjoy a perfect lunch or dinner for two including everything for €80. And yes, they do serve lobster!"
